Use the intelligence responsibly. Keep the human judgment.
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of RelationshipsIQ, including the website, software, relationship-intelligence features, connected services and related support provided by TechStack Consulting, LLC.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and TechStack Consulting, LLC, the operator of RelationshipsIQ (“RelationshipsIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the RelationshipsIQ website, software or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you use RelationshipsIQ on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization.
3. Accounts and access
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and safeguarding your credentials, devices and local files. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms or applicable law. Notify support@relationshipsiq.io promptly if you believe your account or access credentials have been compromised.
Access levels, feature availability and usage limits may depend on your plan, workspace, deployment method or order.
4. What RelationshipsIQ provides
RelationshipsIQ is relationship-intelligence software. Depending on the features available to you, the Service may reconstruct professional-history data, organize relationship evidence, calculate relationship-strength and goal-relevance indicators, identify opportunity timing and change, analyze Network Runway and Relationship Capital, surface Reciprocity and Opportunity Rooms, identify organizational coverage and network-dispersion patterns, support predictive and AI-assisted analysis, and recommend actions for your consideration.
The Service may change as we improve the product, add integrations, refine data models or retire features. We may make reasonable changes that do not materially reduce a paid commitment during its applicable term, subject to any separate order or written agreement.
5. Your data and your responsibilities
Your rights in your data
As between you and TechStack Consulting, LLC, you retain the rights you have in the files, contacts, professional history, notes, goals, corrections and other content you provide to the Service (“User Data”). These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Data to us.
Permission to process User Data
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, access, process, transform, transmit and display User Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, comply with your instructions, and meet legal obligations, subject to our Privacy Policy.
Information about other people
Professional network data often contains information about colleagues, customers, prospects, recruiters, investors, partners and other people. You represent that your collection, upload, connection, use and disclosure of User Data is lawful and that you have the rights, permissions or other lawful basis reasonably necessary for your intended use.
You are responsible for how you use relationship intelligence in communications and decisions involving other people.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate law, regulation, court order or another person’s rights;
- upload data you are not legally permitted to possess, process or use;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, deceive or impersonate another person;
- send unlawful spam, mass unsolicited outreach or communications that violate applicable marketing, privacy or anti-abuse rules;
- scrape, harvest or obtain credentials or data from a third-party service in violation of that service’s terms or applicable law;
- circumvent security, access controls, usage limits, technical restrictions or authentication;
- probe, disrupt, overload, damage or interfere with the Service or another user’s data;
- reverse engineer, copy or extract source code except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the Service or its outputs as the sole basis for a legally regulated high-impact decision about another person, including decisions involving credit, housing, insurance, healthcare, education, employment eligibility or access to essential services; or
- use the Service to build or train a competing product using our confidential product logic, proprietary scoring methods, non-public outputs or protected software except with our written permission.
We may investigate suspected misuse and may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, third parties or legal compliance.
7. Relationship intelligence, AI and recommended actions
RelationshipsIQ is designed to distinguish source evidence, derived inference, user-verified facts and meaningful unknowns. Even so, professional-history archives and connected data are incomplete, outdated or ambiguous at times. Relationship scores, rankings, predictions, routes, suggested opportunities and recommended actions are decision-support outputs—not statements of guaranteed fact unless specifically identified as observed source data.
AI-assisted output may contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them or using them in communications, business decisions or connected workflows.
8. No guaranteed outcomes or professional advice
RelationshipsIQ does not guarantee introductions, responses, sales, contracts, employment, interviews, promotions, funding, investment, partnerships, board seats, recruiting results or any other personal or business outcome.
The Service is not a law firm, investment adviser, broker-dealer, employment agency, credit bureau or financial, legal, tax, medical or other licensed professional adviser. Information and recommendations provided through the Service are for relationship-intelligence and decision-support purposes and should not replace qualified professional advice where such advice is appropriate.
9. Connected and third-party services
You may choose to connect RelationshipsIQ to third-party services such as contact providers, CRM systems, workflow platforms, AI providers or other applications. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for a third party’s service, availability, security or independent use of information once you direct information to that service.
You authorize us to take the actions you request through an enabled integration. You remain responsible for reviewing permissions, recipients, drafts, workflows and other actions before approval where the product provides an approval step.
10. Fees, billing and paid plans
If you purchase a paid plan, subscription or other commercial service, the price, billing frequency, term, included features, limits and any applicable cancellation or refund terms will be shown in the order, checkout flow, marketplace listing or separate agreement that applies to your purchase.
You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge amounts due according to the selected plan. Taxes may be added where required. Except where required by law or expressly stated in the applicable order, fees already earned for a completed billing period are non-refundable.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including the RelationshipsIQ name and marks, software, interfaces, visualizations, relationship-intelligence frameworks, scoring and ranking logic, taxonomies, documentation, designs and other materials supplied by us, is owned by or licensed to TechStack Consulting, LLC and is protected by intellectual-property and other laws.
Subject to these Terms and any applicable plan, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own authorized personal or business purposes.
Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or product feedback, you grant us permission to use that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly as the source without permission.
12. Confidentiality
Each party may receive non-public information from the other that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. Each party will use reasonable care to protect such information and use it only for the relationship contemplated by these Terms, except where disclosure is authorized by the owner or required by law.
Your private professional network and relationship data is treated according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection obligations.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account or data deletion using available product controls or by contacting support, subject to the Privacy Policy and any legal or contractual retention requirements.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create material security or legal risk, abuse the Service or if continued provision becomes unlawful or technically impracticable. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before termination for a remediable breach.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity and dispute provisions—will survive.
14. Availability and changes
We work to keep RelationshipsIQ reliable, but the Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, failures, security events or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We may modify or discontinue free, beta, experimental or preview features at any time.
Any service-level commitment must be stated in a separate written agreement to apply.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TECHSTACK CONSULTING, LLC DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE OR THAT ANY RELATIONSHIP-INTELLIGENCE OUTPUT WILL PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this Section may not apply to you.
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHSTACK CONSULTING, LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TECHSTACK CONSULTING, LLC FOR RELATIONSHIPSIQ DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US$100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TechStack Consulting, LLC and its affiliates, owners, employees and contractors from third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your User Data, or your violation of another person’s rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct.
18. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Unless a different forum is required by law or a separate written agreement, disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, business model, law or risk environment. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice through the website, application, account communication or another appropriate method. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
20. General terms
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent, except as permitted by law. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganization or sale of all or substantially all relevant assets.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, any applicable order and any separate written agreement expressly incorporated by reference constitute the agreement between you and us concerning the Service and supersede prior discussions about that subject.
